Hi Family!

For Starters, Happy Birthday Mommy! 생일축하합니다! Love you so much! 사렁해요! You are the best mommy in the world and I am so thankful for your love and support! Thank you so much! I am so lucky to have you!

This week was awesome despite a few things that could of made it difficult. This week our cell phone broke and we couldn't make calls to any of our investigators. Because of this we now have a new number and we have also just printed 200 advertising flyers with our old number. At first we were confused as to how we could still do everything and to reach out to all of our investigators. When we made our goals for the week we said a prayer to be able to accomplish all that we needed to do.

After we said a prayer, the next day we were in a stationary store and this 13 year old girl kept staring at me and so I decided to start talking to her and told her about our English program and she was actually really excited and we will be meeting with her this week.

Two days later, we were able to get a phone call and we got one from a mom that wanted her son to learn English. When she answered the door she had this big smile on and she seemed like one of the happiest people that I have ever met in Korea! We taught her son english and then started to talk to her about her religious background. She started told us about her life and to sum it up, she grew up with a really broken family, her sister had cancer when she was 19 and she had to take care of her at the hospital. Her sister passed away a year and a half later, and during that time she saw a lot of pain and death and she would see people suddenly believe in God right before they died. She didn't understand why, but she always knew there was a God. After her sister died, she tried to find happiness and made a few decisions that were really tough. About ten years later she met somebody and they got married and had her son. When her son was three years old, her husband passed away and she was left alone to take care of this little boy with no other support. At this point she made a decisions to always be happy, even if she was in difficult circumstances. She is a really inspiring person and I am really happy we found her and her son, I cannot wait to see where things go!

So even without a phone that worked, we were able to get three new investigators this week! God works miracles! Being a missionary can be super difficult, but it is so fun and worth it! I love being able to see how the gospel can change the lives of so many people!

Happy Birthday again mommy! I love you!

여러분, 사랑합니다!
