안녕하네요 사랑하는 여러분,

Well this is it! I cannot believe that a year and a half has passed by so quickly. I still feel like I got here yesterday and that there is so much more to learn! I honestly don't feel that my mission has ended quite yet. It hasn't hit me. I still feel like next week I will wake up at 6:30 and do the normal routine. But here it goes, my last email as Sister Farr in the Korean, Daejeon Mission.

I was trying to think of something motivating to say for my last email. Something big that I learned that would inspire others but all I could think of were a few simple words. Jesus is the Christ.

Throughout this entire experience I have learned so much more about my Savior. I have learned how much he loves each and every one us. As I have met hundreds of people, whom some I barely got to know, I have felt his love for them. Because of this, I have felt my capacity to love others has grown tremendously, more than I could of imagined.

I have learned because of Christ, we can be spiritually cleansed. Anything impure about us can be changed and made correct through the atonement. We can have a new start every week when we take the sacrament. We can ask for forgiveness anytime through prayer. We can start each day confidently knowing that because of him we can have joy, peace, and happiness despite our imperfections.

Because of Christ, we can live with our families for forever through the Plan of Salvation. This is one of my most favorite things about this Gospel. It takes away the sting of death. It provides hope and comfort. It brings peace to the heart. This truth has blessed me throughout my life and it will continue to do so.

I am so thankful for the opportunity to have spent this time serving as a representative of Christ in this amazing country.  I am so thankful for the Korean people. They opened my eyes to so many great things and I learned to much!

Firstly I am thankful to my Heavenly Father for blessing me with this opportunity. Before I left on my mission I owed a great debt to my Heavenly Father and my Savior. I went on a mission to hopefully somewhat pay off that debt and to work hard because of how blessed I was. The more time I spent on my mission I am realized that I am in even more debt. Through my mission, even though it has been really tough, I am learning so much. The things I am learning I wouldn't of been able to learn anywhere else and I probably wouldn't of learned them at all. I have felt so much love and always knew that I could pray during a difficult time. Each one of my trials ended up being a blessing in the end because of how much I learned.

Thank you to my family! Dad, Mom, James, Kaykay, and Jordy.  I love you all so much! I am so thankful for all the great things you taught me. You are the best family in the world. I am so excited to hug you all! Thank you for teaching me the gospel, loving me, helping me succeed. Supporting each and every one of my dreams, and being there when I fell down. I am so proud to call each one of you my family. You all have really made home a heaven on earth.

Thank you to all of my extended family and friends! Thank you to my grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins, the Foutz and Davies family, Springwood Ward, Xanthea. I loved getting your emails each week. They really lifted me up and motivated me to keep trying my best. Thank you for the endless amounts of packages and letters, they were always so thoughtful!

I don't know if I can thank an area, but I am so thankful to have served in Chung-ju, Gwuang-ju, and Gong-ju. I found something special about each area and learned so much in each. I am also so thankful for the members, converts, investigators, and people who I met. They changed my life and I will always remember them!

Thank you to the Korea, Daejeon mission and President and Sister Shin. I have learned a great deal from you. I am so thankful that through their guidance and inspiration I was able to serve where I served and meet the people I met.

Thank you to each of my wonderful companions! I love you all so much. I feel so blessed to have served with you! I served with Sister Mathieson, Sister Paz, and Sister Parola in the MTC, so much love!. That was so much fun! Thank you to my amazing trainer JeeWoo Lee, love you! I am thankful to have served with Han-sol-Lee for a transfer, it was a blast! I love my adorable Sue-Hyun Kim, we had an adventurous 6 months, 180 days, 4,320 hours, 259,200 minutes, 15,552,000 seconds, or however you wanna count it. Sister Lambert, it was definitely a transfer of fun and miracles. I feel so blessed to have served with you! Last but not least, I am also so thankful to have served with my two babies Sister Stanger and Sister Paller. I learned so much from you both and you both make me so proud. You both ended up training me. Love you!

This has been an amazing chapter in my life and I am sad to see it close, but I am also very excited to see what is next. I am excited to take all that I have learned from my mission and apply to my life. This has truly been an amazing 18 months.

I am thankful for this Gospel. I know it is true. I am thankful for Joseph Smith and all the sacrifices he made to restore it. I am so thankful for the Book of Mormon and all of its teachings. It is a true book. It is God's word. It is another testament of Jesus Christ. I know God loves each one of his children. By serving others we can feel of his love. I am thankful for Christ's atonement. I know Christ lives.

Love
